Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan Opens Sayan Bridge

Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan has launched Bali’s first jungle biathlon and river-top dining with a new bridge that provides guests with access to the other side of the Ayung River.

Located in the Ayung Valley near Ubud, the 60-room resort is noted for its spa and wellness experiences, overlooking the river and forest on the other side. The resort’s newly built Sayan Bridge will allow Four Seasons guests to explore this previously off-limits wilderness.

The three-hour jungle biathlon starts with a cycling tour of a rice farming village before heading into the jungle on foot. Led by a Four Seasons guide, trekkers will follow a private trail that leads them down to the river, where they cross the bridge back to the resort.

Pivoting Back to Travel, The Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Edition

2020 put the nuptial plans of thousands upon thousands of couples on hold, but with the promise of widespread vaccine distribution in the near future, it’s time to get back to planning and ensure your clients live out the destination weddings & honeymoons of their dreams. Hear from top suppliers and destinations on wedding venue & ceremony options, romantic destinations & resorts and more when you watch the event on-demand.

Designed to blend in with the surrounding environment, the 105-foot-long suspension bridge hovers just 20-feet above the river, providing a natural soundtrack and views of the river. By day, the bridge leads the way to outdoor excursions, by night it transforms into a private venue for a romantic dinner. Seated in the middle of the bridge directly above the river, guests can now connect to nature and each other while also enjoying a four-course meal prepared by Executive Sous Chef Jean-Philippe Guiard.

The new experiences follow the recent launch of the resort’s river raft arrivals. The rafting check-in is available when transferring from sister resort, the beachfront Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay on Bali’s south-west coast. Guests combining a stay at both resorts can now be taken by private car to the departure point for a two-hour rafting adventure. Their journey floating down the Ayung leads directly to the banks of Four Seasons Sayan, where they can check-in to the hotel.
